In time for the entry into application of the Directive 2013/34/EU, the European Commission has published on 22 December 2025 the first version of the public country-by-country reporting taxonomy.
Arevio, validates iXBRL instances to check if they comply with the taxonomy and with the rules specified in the reporting manual issued by the European Commission. It also generates the fully compliant inline XBRL report in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (Castilian)! Other languages can quickly be added on demand.
➡️ Arevio is once again at the forefront by including these improvements very quickly after their release.
The public country-by-country reporting is mandatory for all large EU companies or all companies operating in the EU if they have an income of more than 750 mio. per year for two consecutive years.
The affected companies declare all the taxes they pay per country and overall.
⚠️ The European Union directive came into force on 23 December 2025, but each EU country is free to set an earlier date for its entry into force. Please consult the national law applicable to your case.
Every company has 12 month to publish the report once the fiscal year has lapsed.
